Magdalena Parfieniuk, born 1991, Cracovian, Alumni of Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocaw at Painting Department, Diploma 2018, advisor prof. K.Skarbek. During the Studies she has attended a half year scholarship in Wrexham Glyndwr University in Wales. She is a finalist of many art contests e.g. Legnickie Promocje or The Fangor Contest. At the moment she undertakes a PhD Program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocaw. She is an involved artist, a workaholic, who dedicates every moment for creating. In painting, she slips the optimism in, which emanates from every single piece. She is not afraid of experimenting with form or color which sounds to be a crucial matter of her inspiration. Apart from painting, she is interested in other techniques as embroidery, linocut, analog photography or illustration.
One artists cabaret is an exhibition showing the current body of artists work and is an introduction to Chroma Haze an issue which is a core of further scientific and artistic research. The exhibitions title is a paraphrase, travesty of casual vernissage where form comes over content, or opposite. Through her self-confidence, optimism and incorrect enthusiasm Parfieniuk proves, that a good painting doesnt need to be black and white or a serious artist straight- laced and remorseless.
